Much better!

Casey has improved considerably since my last update, and is back to sitting on the edge of the tub when I shower, curling up in my lap and acting almost like his old self. He’s not eating entirely on his own yet, but he IS eating on his own at least some of the time, so that’s a huge relief. He has pancreatitis, and the pain of this last episode was what kept him from eating. He just finished a course of antibiotics, and has another week of prednisone to go. Whew. I woke up this morning with him draped over my shoulder and his head tucked under my chin, purring up a storm. Awww.

So, that’s a huge relief. In other news, work is as crazy as usual, but not so much that I can’t enjoy the glorious weather we’ve been having. Alex and I are contemplating a roadtrip to the Northeastern US for our birthday in July, and I’m going to start crunching numbers and routes to see how we could pull that off.

That’s awesome about Casey, glad to hear it was not a new situation, but rather a complication of an existing condition.
Nothing like planning a road trip, I’ve always wanted to visit that part of the US.
